"This liqueur expresses a pleasing and clean aroma of fresh sloe alongside bitter almond . The sweetness on the nose is complemented extremely well by the bitter fruit, with bitter almond quality and the brandy backdrop supporting the whole. A well-structured and balanced liqueur which is not cloying at all and leaves the palate clean on a long, gentle bitter almond note. It would be a delightful post-prandial tipple and is certainly moreish.
Sloe, cherry and almond greet the nose well. Warming with cherry notes and a hint of almond. Balanced sweetness with a dry finish that conveys lasting fruitiness and spice. A pleasant, easy drinking infusion that has been treated well and made with craft. The brandy is an excellent choice for the base spirit."
